Its the middle of summer and its just one of those days that I just had to have the perfect sweet treat after dinner. Seeing that I live in Georgia and peaches are abundant this time of year a peach pie was the ideal dessert. I made this recipe using deliciously ripe peaches from my local market. To save time I used ready-made pie crust from the freezer section of my grocery. Ingredients
5 ripe peaches (peeled and sliced)
Ready made pie crust (any brand-at room temperature)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla essence
1/2 lime (juiced)
